Lookups almost always go through on the first try. If yours doesn't, one of these four things is the cause — start at the top and work down:
- Re‑type the 16 digits by hand. Copy‑paste from email sometimes sneaks in invisible spaces that the form treats as wrong digits.
- Pause any VPN, proxy, or work‑from‑home tunnel for one lookup. Most failed checks we see come from traffic routed overseas.
- Script‑blocking extensions can stop the form from sending. Open the page in a fresh tab — or a different browser — and try once more.
- On a phone, popular “private relay” and tracker‑hiding settings re‑route the request. Switch them off only while you check.

Every card we sell has its own answers, fees, and Cardholder Agreement. Tap the one in your wallet to pull up the details that apply to it.

Talk to a person
- Before you reach out
- Nine in ten support tickets are something the self‑service tools higher up this page can solve in under a minute — balance, transactions, PIN reset, dispute status. If those don't handle it, our team is glad to take it from here. We answer tickets in the order they arrive and aim for a reply inside one business day.
- By phone
- Every GiftCardMall card has a dedicated 1‑800 number printed on the back — that line goes straight to the issuer of your card, which is the fastest path for anything tied to the account itself. If the card has been lost or stolen, head to the Lost‑Card walkthrough first to start a replacement in parallel.
- By post
We still answer paper mail. Send a note to:
GiftCardMall — Cardholder Services410 Market Street, Suite 200Reno, NV 89509Include your full name, the last four digits of the card, and a daytime phone number on the same page. Letters without the card's last four end up in a queue we can't match to an account, so please double‑check before sealing the envelope.
The fine print
Every card we sell is funded by an FDIC‑member bank and runs on the payment network whose mark you'll see on the front. The actual issuer is printed on the back of the card itself — if you ever need to talk to them directly, that name is the one to reference.
Cards work within the fifty United States and the District of Columbia. Anything routed to a merchant outside the country — including overseas online stores and most mail‑order or phone‑order sellers based abroad — will usually be declined at the network level. We can't override those declines.
Activating or spending the card means you've accepted the terms in its Cardholder Agreement. The agreement spells out applicable fees, when the card expires, and how disputes are handled. We strongly recommend reading it once before first use.
